We measured assembled putters from several different manufacturers. We matched
these up with our T-MINUS putters. You can pick out a corresponding T-MINUS putter
to order from this table if you know that the lie and loft also match your stance.
Go to Custom Fit if you need assistance for the lie, length and
loft. Remember, if its a blade add three (3) degrees to the lie to place your hands
and eyes in the same relative position. We have added the lie angle to our matching
putter in the table for blades. This also applies to many of the newer popular
putters that are face balanced. We show the correct lie angle in the table below to
match a standard lie putter from several more well known manufacturers with ours.
This table is not a comment on the manufacturing methods of these companies, nor is it
a statistical significant sample of what you would find for different putters of the same
model and shaft length from the same manufacturer. We only measured one
putter for each model shown with the same shaft length. The mass was rounded off to
the nearest five (5) grams for reporting purposes. Five (5.0) grams is the mass of a
nickel, two and one half (2.5) grams is the mass of a new penny (1990's), and one (1.0)
gram is the mass of a dollar bill.
Most putters measured were with 35" shaft length as were all of ours except for
the long shafted ones which were 48-1/2" long (our standard length).
If you do not find your particular model in this table, take your putter to a express
mail & shipping type business and have your complete putter weighed. It is
likely that the weight (mass here on Earth at 1g) they tell you will be in ounces.
Not to worry, our table gives our putter weight in ounces also. Please e-mail us
your putter mass/weight so that we can update our table for others. Thank you in
advance.
